Hotel Donauwalzer *** is a centrally located family hotel with excellent connections by public transport (underground) to Vienna´s most interesting sights. Our house was built in 1901 by a well-known Austrian winegrower dynasty as a wedding gift for her son. During the World War 2, the house was partly destroyed by an aeroplane bomb. Due to the lack of flats during the war-time, a part of the hotel was changed into appartments.
In 1985 the hotel was taken over by the current hoteliers-family and since than the former appartments have been converted into hotel rooms. Still nowadays the old Viennese traditions are kept alive by the family Kluss. All our rooms are equipped with shower (bath), toilet, Telefone, satellite TV and minibar. Furthermore some of our luxury rooms offer a private whirlpool (jacuzi).

Non smoking rooms, elevator and rooms suitable for handicapped / disabled people. The hotel offer one to 5-bed rooms, double rooms and little apartments with cooking facilities, especially for families or longer stays. Capacity for 2 busses. The hotel is very centrally located. Tram 44 stops directly in front of the house and takes you to the center in less than 5 minutes. Tram 43 and the metro line 6 (Stop "Alserstrasse") are in 100 meters distance.
The Westbahnhof (train station is 4 stops away). The close bus 13a takes you directly to the south train station. The hotel has a coffee house and a restaurant, both open 24 hrs. Furthermore you will find a sauna, a little gym, a snack bar and, in the cellar a discotheque and a party cave for rent. Parking space for 2 busses right in front of the house during the night hours. Another bus parking place is to be found in 300 metres.
In our coffee house "Johann Strauss" every Friday, Saturday and Sunday a life band plays dancing music. For smaller events (up to 50 persons) a separated part of the coffee house can be rented. All kinds of technical equipment available. Kitchen is open 24hrsService. Around the hotel many austrian and international restaurants can be found: Chinese, perse, italian, polish a.s.o.
