It was built at the end of 14th century. It means in the time of the rule of the Roman emperor and Czech king Charles IV. He personally decided about the construction of one of the most edifice work of the world - the Charles bridge, which you can find around 5 minutes far from the hotel.

In 1995 the building was returned back to the Čadek family - issue of Zajíc aristocrat family whose blazon is placed on the forefront of the building.
