Built in 1897, LE CAVENDISH has reopened in April 2001 as a luxury hotel after an extensive renovation programme. Its façade, classified as historical monument, and its stairways in carrera marble surrounding a work of art lift make it a hotel in the tradition of the French Riviera de luxe properties. The concept of the designer has been to recreate the ambiance you could find in these private " demeures " at the end of last century: open reception desk, cosy lounge bar with antiques and travelling memorials, 40 different bedrooms featuring traditional furniture.
