This beautiful 10-bedrooms 18th and 19th century Château is set on 8 hectares of wooded grounds bordered by a river and a running stream. Amenities include a pool, a large heated Jacuzzi with a view of Pyrenees mountains, a tennis court, and a professional kitchen. An excellent 18-hole golf course is 5 minutes away. There is a walking path encircling the entire grounds, which are bordered by the Arize river on one side and a stream on the other.

There are 300 years old trees, well tended lawns, flowers, shrubs, lemon and orange trees, BBQ, tables and chairs are provided for alfresco dining. Also, on the grounds is a 5 m x 11m heated pool, a tennis court, an outdoor terrace, a hot water outdoor Jacuzzi, and a separate building with a large game room. Linen, towels, and welcome pack provided. 5 day, daily, or one week bookings accepted.

Sunday Changeover. Chef, maid service, airport transfers, optional tours, golf tee-off times can be arranged. Pets accepted. The Château, situated halfway between St. Girons and Foix, was owned by one of the most powerful aristocratic families in the Ariege, and is being opened to the public for the first time as a bed and breakfast accommodation or as a luxury rental. Ground Floor: a provencal style kitchen, with cold room, and gas cooker, microwave, large fridge.

A second kitchen is a professional, restaurant-style kitchen with gas and steam ovens, fryers, and a large cooking island in the middle. Down the hall is a TV Room with a large screen TV Projector, a DVD Library, and a Karaoke system. The grand staircase leads to the second floor with its library, and five further beautifully furnished bedrooms and one other suite room. Each room is fully equipped with Satellite TV, ISDN Internet Access, Mini Bar, and personal direct dial telephone.

Eight bedrooms and suites have private bathrooms, and two bedrooms share a bathroom located across the hall from the rooms. Baby cot and high chair available. Central and Electric Heating.
