The Landhotel Burg im Spreewald is situated in the middle of Spree Forest with more than 1000 km of waterway network. Since September 1991, the Spreewald is a biosphere reservation and so part of a world-wide network of large areas set up under UNESCO's patronage. Typical means of transport on the Spreewald streams are traditionally the flat wooden boats which are moved on by hand with a wooden pole.

The Landhotel is a country style hotel with 53 rooms. All rooms are provided with bath or shower, sat-tv, radio, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and most of them with internet connection and balcony. Enjoy the restaurant Wendenkönig with national and international kitchen or the Kaminrestaurant with a very nice atmosphere because of the fire-place.
