Da Elisa alle Sette Arti provides accommodation in the historical centre of Lucca, in one of the most beautiful and elegant areas within the sixteenth century walls. As soon as you enter the reception hall you sense the charms of Lucca's historic homes. All of the rooms show features of the nineteenth century architecture - delicate decorations are painted on most chandeliered ceilings, and the floors are decorated with wonderfully coloured and ornately patterned tiles.

The building is opposite the church of San Micheletto and is just a two minute walk away from the Orto Botanico (Lucca's botanical garden) and from the famous town walls. Accommodation is offered in single, double and triple rooms, and you may choose to stay on a bed and breakfast basis should you wish - this is provided by the bar below the building. Da Elisa is what is known in Italy as an 'affitacamere' - you are 'renting' the rooms on a nightly basis as opposed to staying in a hotel, and the rooms are not en-suite.

In this case there are three bathrooms, all with shower, for six bedrooms. There is public parking just 30 metres away (free parking outside the walls is just 100 metres away), and you are able to hire bikes and rollerblades either by the hour or for a full day - the ideal way to explore Lucca.
