At only one mile from the center of Montepulciano, on the top of a hill far from the main road only the distance enough to avoide the noise of the traffic and surrounded by tidy vineyards of the famous VINO NOBILE DI MONTEPULCIANO, is located this beautiful farmhouse typical of the Tuscan Land who recently has been wonderfully restored. "Between Art and Paradise". This certainly is the most appropriate way to describe the location of our farmhouse.

In fact ORTAGLIA is casted towards the art of Montepulciano, with its roofs which show all the shades of garnet red, and the dome of San Biagio, third in the word for wideness and significance. On the same time the hill where the farmhouse stands out is plunged into the tranquillity and the charm of the tuscan countryside, muse of famous artists and poets. On the top of this hill, between art and paradise, in the middle of seventeen century have been laid the foundations of the ORTAGLIA farmhouse.

In these fifteen acres of Paradise together with our olive-trees, which give an intense and full bodied extra virgin olive oil, you will see thousands of smiling sunflowers greeting the sun rise of August. At the ORTAGLIA the password is RELAX and we really did our best to create a magical atmosphere. All our bedrooms have been furnished with great attention to the functionality and to the elegance.

Our internal decorators have skilfully selected the colours, paired the cloths and blended the various antique pieces with simple tuscan handicrafts. Our goal of re-creating inside the same magical and great sensations that you feel walking towards our estate has been thus achieved. In the three suites our guests can also enjoy a tonic jacuzzi sipping a glass of the best Spumante Classico.
