Zermatt is situated in southern Switzerland at an altitude of 1600m, only a few hours away from the international airports of Zürich, Geneva and Milan. Zermatt can be reached equally quickly from the west, north and south: There is a direct rail connection in Brig with the modern narrow-gauge railway  BVZ Zermatt-Bahn, which takes you through the wild, rugged and romantic Vispertal valley to Zermatt in only an hour and a half.

The well-developed road takes you as far as Täsch (4.8 kms from Zermatt), where covered and open public car parks are available. There is free car parking in Visp for passengers continuing to Zermatt by rail. Shuttle trains (every 20 minutes) and taxi vans take you from Täsch to Zermatt.All rooms are generously proportioned and offer a cosy atmosphere with lots of light and peace and quiet.
